Obituary for John E. Lennox

John E.  Lennox
STILLWATER - John E. Lennox, 79, of Phillips Road, died Sunday, Sept. 3rd, at Wesley Health Care, Saratoga Springs, after an extended illness.
Born in Black River, NY, Nov 9, 1937, son of Claude and Anna Lennox, John served in the US Army from 1957-60 as a military policeman. Upon his discharge, John began a 35 yr career as a welder/machinist with General Electric in Schenectady.
Years ago, John was a sportsman, fishing and hunting, but in later years, he and his wife hunted for big game on their yearly Las Vegas casino trips.
A loving husband and concerned father, John watched over his clan. HE will be greatly missed.
His wife of 52 years, Ramona Baker Lennox died August 19, 2010. He also was predeceased by his brothers Fred and Thomas Lennox.
Survivors include his proud children: John and Frances Lennox of Stillwater, Kimberly and Bertman Bouchey of Schuylerville and Mark Lennox of Saratoga Springs. Beloved grandchildren Jason and Justin Lennox, Scott and Mark Mayo, Jarryd Bouchey, Anthony and Dustin Lennox, Frankie Taylor, Clinton and Cassie Waddell, along with great grandchildren Nicholas, Noah, Sophia, Laurenzo, Reighlynn, Sophia and Raleigh.
His siblings Robert Lennox, Sr of Florida, Richard (Donna) Lennox of Cohoes, Judy (James) Ruff of Green Island, Charles Lennox of Alabama and Mary (Van) Madison of Pennsylvania, along with nieces, nephews and their families.
An Inurnment service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 6th at 1 PM at Saratoga National Cemetery. Those attending are asked to be at Cemetery at 12:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, in respectful memory of John E. Lennox.
