Obituary for Henry F. Lefco

CORINTH - Henry F. Lefco, 58, died Saturday, Oct 22, 2016 in Glens Falls Hospital following a brief illness. A Mechanicville native, he was born in Troy, October 6, 1958, son of the late Peter Lefco and the late Mary D’Aloia Lefco Ballard.
Henry has been involved with the Capital District Developmental Disabilities Services and NYS Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities for most of his life.
He has lived in a local group home for a number of years in the area. A loveable guy, Henry was kind spirited and always enjoyed teasing his housemates. He also looked forward to visits with his family and enjoyed music and movies.
Survivors include his siblings Anelia(Robert) Roy of Malta, Lucie(David) Smith of Waterford and Peter(Diana Hayes) Lefco of Ballston Lake, his nephew and nieces; Justin(Karyn) Lefco, Lisa(Paul) Lafferty and Colleen(Jude) Pierre and their families, and his aunt Carmina Blood of Clifton Park.
Henry’s family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to his caregivers at Davidson Drive in Saratoga and most recently at the Main Street facility in Corinth, New York. They are special people who provide wonderful care each and every day to those with special needs
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Those wishing to remember Henry in a special way, in lieu of flowers, are asked to donate to Saratoga Bridges, 16 Bridges Blvd., Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
