MECHANICVILE - Henry T. “Hank” Craft, Jr., 51, lifelong resident of Mechanicville, died tragically Friday evening, July 8th, at Albany Medical Center, from injuries sustained in a July 6th motor vehicle/pedestrian accident on So. Central Ave in Mechanicville.
Born August 3, 1964, he was son of the late Henry and Helen Anne Stockwicz Craft, Sr.
Hank was an automotive mechanic for most of his life, last working at Capital Equipment Co. and previously at Joe’s Cycle Shop and Haney Bros. all of Mechanicville.
Hank enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing daily numbers and games of chance, but his best times in life were enjoyed with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Brenda Spickler Craft, whom he married July of 2008. His children: Jennifer Craft and Amanda Rich both of Mechanicville, and Joseph Spickler of Saratoga Lake. Grandchildren: Dekotah, Natalie and Nathan, his siblings Lisa Craft, Melissa (Joe) Zennaiter, Melanie Craft (Terry), Peggy Craft and Heath (Barbara) Craft all of Mechanicville, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in Hudson View Cemetery.
Calling hours at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.
